Create test plans and document test cases for an ongoing project focused on the UI/UX of the application
Record test progress and results in Jira and TestRail
Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
Identify any potential problems that users might encounter
Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
Attend Scrum meetings - planning, refinement, and retrospectives
Communicate between business and dev teams regarding product launches/bug fixes
Documenting/resolving customer reported issues
Requirements
4+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role
Strong understanding of HTML/CSS and comfortable using browser developer tools (Inspector, Console, Network tabs) to investigate and triage front-end bugs
Experience testing e-commerce, booking, or reservation management platforms is a plus
Can test complex data model changes and execute on more complex ones with little guidance
Experience with software QA tools (TestRail, Jira, etc) and processes
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Operating in an “Agile” environment
Team player
Good time-management
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to clearly articulate complex issues to both technical and non-technical team members.
