About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with company goals and user needs
- Turn a broad opportunity into a focused first release and define subsequent product direction
- Determine where the AI product recommends, acts, or keeps a person in the loop
- Design review and control experiences that help operators delegate meaningful work to software
- Conduct customer discovery with campground and RV park owners
- Translate customer insights into requirements for engineering
- Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, sales, support, and other Campspot teams
- Own connection points between the AI marketing product and the Campspot platform
- Shape third-party marketing integration strategy
- Conduct market research and analyze industry trends, competition, and customer feedback
- Partner with marketing, sales, and finance on packaging, pricing, and positioning
- Define KPIs, evaluate output quality, and iterate based on data insights
- Lead product development from ideation through launch
- Run agile ceremonies and manage and prioritize the backlog
- Foster an agile mindset within the team
- Regularly communicate product progress, challenges, and successes to stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of product management experience, including taking features from idea to launch and iterating after launch
- Experience shipping or closely working on AI-powered products, including LLM-powered workflows, copilots, or generative content tooling
- Hands-on experience with agentic or autonomous features strongly preferred
- Working understanding of current AI capabilities and limitations, with sound judgment about appropriate scope
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making
- Experience designing experiments and defining success metrics
- Customer-centric mindset focused on exceptional experiences for non-technical, time-constrained users
- Proven project management skills and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent workstreams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Collaborative approach to working with diverse teams
- Comfort with ambiguity and unfinished product definition
- Marketing or martech experience desirable
- Practical familiarity with digital marketing channels advantageous
- Experience on a 0-to-1 product or major new product line desirable
- SMB or vertical SaaS experience desirable
- Experience in e-commerce, travel, booking, hospitality, or the outdoor industry desirable
- Experience with platform or multi-product interoperability desirable
