About the role
- Create test plans and document test cases for projects within the team
- Record test progress and results in Jira and TestRail
- Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
- Identify any potential problems that users might encounter
- Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
- Attend Scrum meetings - planning, refinement, and retrospectives
- Communicate between business and dev teams regarding product launches/bug fixes
- Documenting/resolving customer reported issues
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role
- Strong understanding of HTML/CSS and comfortable using browser developer tools (Inspector, Console, Network tabs) to investigate and triage front-end bugs
- Experience testing e-commerce, booking, or reservation management platforms is a plus
- Can test complex data model changes and execute on more complex ones with little guidance
- Experience with software QA tools (TestRail, Jira, etc) and processes
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Operating in an “Agile” environment
- Team player
- Good time-management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to clearly articulate complex issues to both technical and non-technical team members.
