About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate and facilitate effective and engaging professional learning services to customers
Manage K-5 reading intervention implementation in South Florida
Work directly with the district’s curriculum team in developing and supporting a comprehensive implementation plan
Act as an instructional coach/specialist at the school level
Promote the fidelity of implementation, facilitate professional learning services, and support teachers and students
Deliver in-person and virtual professional learning, customer support and planning meetings
Develop and/or update training assets for virtual and in-person professional learning
Review survey data and apply feedback toward professional growth and training refinement

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in education required
Master’s degree preferred
At least 5 years teaching experience in K-12 education
At least 3 years of delivering professional learning sessions or coaching and consulting with teachers in applying best practices in classrooms with various populations of learners
Direct experience with VSL programs as a trainer, district leader, instructional coach, or classroom teacher
Effective presentation skills for in-person and virtual settings utilizing a variety of collaboration and engagements strategies with adult learners
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills (communication, problem solving, collaboration, and sensibility to build rapport with customers and co-workers)
Proficiency using technology-based productivity tools including Microsoft Office, Google and other web applications
Ability to travel via various modes of transportation. This can include evenings, occasional weekends, and driving after dark
