About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Apply Cambio’s best-in-class ML models to generate energy conservation measures at hyper-scale for our real-estate customer
Work closely with commercial real estate owners to understand their needs and develop their path to net zero across their portfolios.
Assist in delivering retrofit projects which comply with local, state, and federal regulations and help improve Cambio’s automated regulatory analytics.
Monitor the performance of retrofitted buildings and help analyze pre- and post-retrofit energy outcomes, cost savings, and carbon impact to further improve Cambio’s impact for customers.
Work alongside our Data Science team to expand and refine the physics-based building science models underlying the Cambio decarbonization platform.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional Engineer (P. Eng or P.E.) designation strongly preferred.
5+ years of experience in building engineering, with a focus on retrofit projects and energy efficiency. Experience signing & sealing projects as engineer of record (EOR) strongly preferred.
Proficiency in building systems analysis and construction implementation, including systems design, site evaluation, energy modeling, and cost estimation.
Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data from various sources and make data-driven recommendations.
Proven experience in managing retrofit projects from conception to completion.
In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to energy efficiency and decarbonization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Enthusiastically works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and customer success.
