About the role
- Apply Cambio’s best-in-class ML models to generate energy conservation measures at hyper-scale for our real-estate customer
- Work closely with commercial real estate owners to understand their needs and develop their path to net zero across their portfolios.
- Assist in delivering retrofit projects which comply with local, state, and federal regulations and help improve Cambio’s automated regulatory analytics.
- Monitor the performance of retrofitted buildings and help analyze pre- and post-retrofit energy outcomes, cost savings, and carbon impact to further improve Cambio’s impact for customers.
- Work alongside our Data Science team to expand and refine the physics-based building science models underlying the Cambio decarbonization platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Science, Engineering, or a related field. Professional Engineer (P. Eng or P.E.) designation strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in building engineering, with a focus on retrofit projects and energy efficiency. Experience signing & sealing projects as engineer of record (EOR) strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in building systems analysis and construction implementation, including systems design, site evaluation, energy modeling, and cost estimation.
- Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data from various sources and make data-driven recommendations.
- Proven experience in managing retrofit projects from conception to completion.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations related to energy efficiency and decarbonization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Enthusiastically works collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and customer success.
