About the role

  • Sales & Customer Interaction: Identify and approach target segments (e.g., energy consultants, engineering firms, industrial companies)
  • Build and maintain target account lists
  • Support customer meetings, negotiations and partnership initiations
  • Prepare and assist with demos, pitches and follow-ups
  • Support proof-of-concepts and proposal processes
  • Business Development & Go-to-Market: Analyze market trends, competitors and customer needs in the energy sector
  • Develop and test GTM components (messaging, pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies)
  • Partnership Support: Research and prepare meetings with potential partners and customers
  • Finance & Business Development: Prepare and run fundraising rounds (Pre-Seed / Seed / Series A)
  • Communicate with investors, grant providers and strategic partners
  • Develop pricing, sales and revenue models
  • Responsible for budget, cash flow and financial management
  • CRM, Processes & Feedback: Maintain the sales pipeline in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot or Pipedrive)
  • Support KPI tracking (e.g., meetings, opportunities, win rates)
  • Systematically collect customer feedback and reflect it in the product roadmap and messaging
  • Events & Content: Support trade shows, webinars and industry events
  • Create presentations, sales materials and short case formats

Requirements

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Energy Economics, Business Administration, Economics, Management, Engineering or a comparable field
  • Interest in sales, business development and startup work
  • Strong communication and listening skills, confident presence
  • Structured, independent and proactive working style
  • Enjoy interacting with customers, conducting research and strategic thinking
  • Passion for the energy transition, innovative technologies and sustainable solutions
  • Nice-to-have (not required): Initial experience with CRM tools
  • Experience with presentations, pitches or market analyses
  • Basic understanding of energy markets or industrial energy systems
