About the role
- Seeking a Tri-Lingual Translator to translate all forms of communication in Thai, English and Mandarin Chinese.
- The successful candidate will provide language support in numerous areas such as translating and written communications in all forms of correspondence including, but not limited to, emails, announcements, trainings, procedural documents and instruction, etc.
- Collaborate closely with upper management, Factory Manager, Trainers and Trainees
- Provide accurate interpretation during meetings, conferences, trainings and client interacti
- Effectively translate verbal and written procedures for factory processes and best practices
- Proofread, revise and research technical terms for company documents and procedures to ensure correct translation of all communication
- Coordinate with internal and external individuals and experts to ensure clear understanding of translated tasks and/or follow-up on any unclear points or misunderstandings
- Ability to creatively use language for clarity
- Retain and develop language knowledge in specialty areas as it relates to the factory and procedures
- Other administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Proficiency (spoken and written) in English, Thai and Mandarin Chinese
- 1-3 years proven work experience in translation within a factory/business environment is preferred
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in a language related major is preferred
- Good computer skills and familiarity with translation software
- Cultural understanding of Thai, Chinese and Western cultures
- Attention to detail and accuracy in translation and interpretation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced factory environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various communication styles and situations
- Domestic and International travel may be required on a limited basis
