About the role
- Design and analyze transmission line systems, ensuring adherence to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct load-flow and fault analysis, providing insights to improve system reliability and efficiency.
- Prepare comprehensive design reports, specifications, and technical documentation for project implementation.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, regulatory bodies, and construction teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers in design methodologies and best practices.
- Review and critique designs and calculations submitted by engineering staff.
- Identify and resolve design and execution issues throughout project lifecycles.
- Stay current with advancements in transmission technology and infrastructure development trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in transmission line engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency with design analysis software such as PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, or equivalent tools.
- Strong knowledge of transmission line construction techniques and materials.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
