About the role
- Provide hands-on support and enhancement of IBM DataStage ETL jobs
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance in a regulated environment
- Reverse-engineer and document complex transformation logic
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in deposit insurance calculations
- Implement fixes and minor enhancements with audit traceability in mind
- Partner with business stakeholders to explain data flows and outputs
- Collaborate in an Agile team environment with product and engineering leadership
- Contribute to a modernization roadmap transitioning to DBT and Snowflake
Requirements
- 3–5+ years hands-on IBM DataStage experience
- Strong SQL skills (DB2 preferred)
- Experience supporting production ETL systems
- Ability to understand and refactor legacy transformation logic
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface with stakeholders.
- Nice to Have:
- Financial services or banking experience
- Exposure to regulatory or audit-driven data environments
- Familiarity with Snowflake, DBT, or modernization initiatives
