About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the Southeast region consisting of multiple territories across our Tier 3 customers
- Sell to new and established Calix customers
- Engage with cross-functional teams to continue to blaze a new trail in next-generation business applications
- Ensure that your team has all the tools necessary to deliver on the ambitious business goals Calix has set for them
- Manage the day-to-day and week-to-week operations of the sales team
- Bring your sales leadership experience to the team as you coach, develop and support their growth as sales professionals
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of sales leadership experience
- Track record of leading teams who over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company)
- In depth understanding of Broadband Service Provider business
- Experience managing the sales cycle from business champion to the CEO/CFO/CMO level
- 10+ years of quota carrying technology sales or pre-sales and account management experience
- Experience managing and closing complex sales-cycles, demonstrating ownership of all aspects of territory management
- Strong computer skills, including salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
