About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute integrated digital campaigns that support CNPS’s conservation, policy, and organizational growth goals.
  • Work across channels to engage diverse audiences, drive meaningful action, and continuously improve campaign performance through data and analysis.
  • Play a central part in translating priorities into coordinated campaigns that deliver results.
  • Contribute to coalition-based initiatives partnering with external organizations and providing both strategic recommendations and tactical implementation to advance shared goals.
  • Develop and distribute agendas for meetings and track and follow-up on action items.
  • Establish conversion funnels across multiple campaigns with end-to-end plans for engagement online.
  • Contribute to various coalitions' timely, coordinated, and proactive contributions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 6 years of experience developing and executing digital campaigns, either in-house or at an agency.
  • A track record of driving measurable outcomes such as advocacy actions, donations, or audience growth.
  • Experience with CRM or digital engagement platforms (such as EveryAction, Blackbaud Luminate, NationBuilder, or similar tools).
  • Comfortable working in CMS platforms like WordPress.
  • Proficient user of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console) to inform performance.
  • Strong writer who can translate complex topics into clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate content.
  • Familiarity with public policy, advocacy, or issue-based campaigns, or a strong interest in learning.
  • A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Relevant professional experience may substitute for a degree on a year-for-year basis.
  • Fluency in Spanish or other languages widely spoken in California is nice to have.
