About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage Inventory Control: Lead cycle counting programs and investigate variances.
- Optimize Logistics: Coordinate incoming shipments and track outgoing material deliveries.
- Maintain System Accuracy: Update the ERP system to reflect real-time stock levels.
- Organize Warehouse: Arrange storage locations to maximize space and picking efficiency.
- Audit Documentation: Verify packing slips, bills of lading, and purchase orders.
- Conduct daily inspections, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and international laws, regulations, and policies.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with purchasing and production to prevent material shortages.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years in warehouse logistics or inventory control
- High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP software and Excel certifications
- Forklift certification is a plus
- Basic understanding of truck freight rates
- Strong understanding of applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements and other related safety policies and best practices
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to monitor and maintain records and inventory
