About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support programs to promote employee engagement, morale and a positive workplace culture.
  • Provide confidential counseling and support to employees on work-related issues including performance management, conflict resolution, harassment and discrimination.
  • Collaborate with managers and HR partners to develop, document and follow up on corrective action plans to ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Mediate and facilitate resolution of conflicts between teammates and managers.
  • Investigate allegations of discrimination, harassment, workplace misconduct and performance deficiencies.
  • Conduct confidential interviews with employees and managers to gather information and understand concerns.
  • Escalate teammate relations events and concerns in accordance with company policy and guidance.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and confidential documentation of employee relations issues and investigations using Company approved processes, tools and templates.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Support the development and communication of HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.
  • Conduct training sessions on HR topics, such as harassment, discrimination, and workplace safety.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in policy content to improve clarity, teammate understanding and adherence.
  • Maintain effective communication with employees, managers, and other stakeholders on HR matters.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in employee relations or a similar HR role.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interface with teammates and managers.
  • Strong facilitation and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of products, top tier HR systems and case management tools.
