Key responsibilities & impact

Mentoring and growing engineers.
Leading agile ceremonies to help your team plan out their work and get it done.
Identifying future technical needs and creating plans to meet them.
Providing feedback and guidance to help us continuously grow and scale.
Hiring engineers to build out both new and existing squads for the company, with oversight on all team members that get hired onto the squad.
Working on products and services aimed at simplifying scheduling for millions of users.

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years experience managing a team of Software Engineers
5+ years of overall development experience, ideally using TypeScript, Node.js, and React
Deep proficiency with distributed / data-oriented application development and SaaS
Experience planning and leading development efforts on large projects
Previous experience leading and mentoring teams and driving them toward big goals with consistent execution
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to succinctly explain deep technical concepts
Experience leading Agile / Scrum ceremonies
Availability for participation in on-call rotation, ensuring prompt and effective responses to business-critical alerts outside of regular working hours
Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time.
