About the role
- Maintain refractory installation quality by following SOPs and keeping quality documentation
- Execute projects on committed schedules and obtain project completion certificate from customer
- Prepare MIS: daily progress reports, tracking sheets, and material reconciliation; coordinate with project coordinators
- Inspect refractory lining with TPI or competence agencies and produce detailed inspection reports
- Manage materials at store and site, ensuring correctness of quantities received
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and workplace safety at site
- Ensure timely submission of contractor bills and customer certifications for monthly billing
- Maintain and ensure timely repair and maintenance of site machines
- Perform project closure activities and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and safety
- Coordinate with Project Managers, contractors, customers, and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil, Mechanical, or Ceramic Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in site engineering or project execution roles
- Strong technical knowledge of construction/installation procedures
- Proficiency in project documentation, MIS, and reporting
- Experience with safety protocols and statutory compliances in construction/project execution
- Experience in handling contractors, site workers, and customer interactions (preferred)
- People management and training skills
- Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently
- Strong problem-solving and deviation handling skills
- Excellent coordination and communication with multiple stakeholders
- Willingness to be highly mobile and work across various project sites
