About the role

  • Develop and implement a financial strategy aligned with the company’s growth in blockchain and crypto markets.
  • Manage financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management for digital assets and fiat holdings.
  • Oversee tokenomics strategy, ensuring a sustainable and scalable financial model for the company's crypto ecosystem.
  • Analyze market trends and provide insights on investment opportunities in DeFi, NFTs, and Web3 projects.
  • Supervise the management of crypto reserves, liquidity pools, and staking mechanisms.
  • Ensure compliance with global crypto regulations (FATF, SEC, MiCA, AML/KYC policies).
  • Develop and oversee risk management frameworks for digital assets, including market volatility, liquidity risk, and cybersecurity threats.
  • Manage relationships with crypto investors, venture capital firms, exchanges, and institutional partners.
  • Provide transparent financial reporting to stakeholders, ensuring trust and compliance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, with at least 5 years in crypto, blockchain, or fintech.
  • Deep understanding of tokenomics, DeFi, stablecoins, and crypto trading strategies.
  • Knowledge of blockchain accounting standards, crypto taxation, and international financial regulations.
  • Experience with crypto exchanges, wallets, and decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with Islamic finance principles is a plus for Shariah-compliant projects.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
