About the role
- Work on SAP ECC activities with a focus on monitoring collections and payments, system integrations, and generating return files for back-end systems.
- Support accounting processes, including configuration of accounting events, creation and maintenance of general ledger accounts, accounting entries, reconciliations, and support for the company's financial and accounting routines.
- Responsible for creating and tracking transport requests between Development, QA (QAS) and Production (PRD) environments, following SAP best practices.
- Expected to be proactive, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with technical and business areas, contributing to synergy across company teams.
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of SAP ECC, with focus on the FI module.
- Experience with financial and accounting processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and journal entries.
- Knowledge of monitoring collections and payments in SAP.
- Familiarity with system integrations and generation/consumption of return files (EDI, layouts, flat files).
- Experience creating and managing transport requests between DEV, QAS and PRD environments.
- Ability to interact with technical and business areas to provide support and clarify requirements.
- Knowledge of accounting events and posting logic in SAP FI (desirable).
- Basic FI customizing knowledge (e.g., general ledger accounts, account classes, posting keys).
- Experience with SAP interfaces to legacy/back-end systems (desirable).
- Basic functional debugging and error analysis in integrations (desirable).
- Experience in a regulated corporate environment (finance, insurance, consortiums or related) (desirable).
- Knowledge of SAP ECC integrated with financial/collections engines (desirable).
