About the role
- Analyze accounting and financial statements, ensuring compliance with Accounting Pronouncements (CPCs), regulatory requirements and the specific accounting practices for consortium businesses.
- Ensure the reliability of accounting information, meeting the requirements of the Central Bank of Brazil and supporting senior management decision-making.
- Review administrative processes with accounting impact and propose improvements and automations in coordination with the relevant departments.
- Draft, review and disseminate accounting policies, standards and procedures, ensuring process standardization and compliance.
- Perform manual journal entries, provisions and adjustments, ensuring correct recognition of transactions on an accrual basis.
- Execute monthly accounting close, including analysis of the Balance Sheet and the Income Statement (DRE), as well as account reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit accounting and regulatory information to the Central Bank of Brazil (forms 4010, 4016 and 2080), in accordance with applicable deadlines and rules.
- Validate payroll processing and record payroll events in SAP, ensuring automatic accounting integration to the General Ledger (GL).
- Submit monthly financial information.
- Analyze and justify monthly trial balance variances, ensuring accuracy and integrity of accounting records.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Desirable: Knowledge of the SAP FI module.
- Desirable: Knowledge of the consortium business.
- Desirable: Intermediate SQL knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of the main Accounting Pronouncements (CPCs), especially: CPC 00 (Conceptual Framework for Financial Reporting), CPC 04 (Intangible Assets), CPC 25 (Provisions, Contingent Liabilities and Contingent Assets), CPC 26 (Presentation of Financial Statements) and CPC 27 (Property, Plant and Equipment).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with clarity and objectivity in information presentation.
- Ability to critically analyze accounting and financial information.
- Strategic perspective on the accounting impacts of business decisions.
- Knowledge of applicable accounting standards, policies and resolutions.
