About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You are the technical backbone for our customers in the energy and water sectors, ensuring our modern software solutions are deployed securely and efficiently.
End-to-end support: First/Second/Third-level support for modern web applications and apps in asset management, in close coordination with development and project management.
Deployment & commissioning: Secure implementation of complex software environments (on-premises or cloud).
Customer-focused knowledge transfer: Hands-on training and onboarding of customer administrators and end users.
Project participation & process optimization: Actively support the introduction of new applications and deliver product-related services to optimize the IT processes of our existing customers.
Quality assurance & testing: Perform software tests as part of product releases to ensure the stability and security of the solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering) or a relevant vocational qualification (e.g., IT specialist).
Practical experience and enthusiasm for new technologies and industry processes in the energy and water sectors.
Database knowledge (PostgreSQL, Oracle) including SQL queries.
Experience with cloud architectures, web applications, or modern deployment pipelines.
Strong sensitivity to security standards and a basic understanding of protective measures for operators of critical infrastructure (KRITIS).
Proactive, customer-oriented working style with an analytical approach to problem solving.
Very good German language skills, both written and spoken, and solid English skills for technical communication and documentation.
