About the role
- You take responsibility for the entire development process – from functional requirements to stable production deployment.
- Your tasks include: further development and maintenance of our existing Delphi applications (frontend & backend).
- Contribute to architecture and design decisions for new and existing components.
- Develop business logic and user interfaces, including integration with SQL databases.
- Assess functional requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
- Integrate and maintain various interfaces (e.g. REST, Protobuf, SOAP).
- Work as part of an agile Scrum team, including code reviews, testing, and technical alignment.
Requirements
- Experience in software development with Delphi – ideally at a senior level
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented software development and clean code structure
- Experience working with SQL databases and common integration/interface technologies
- Interest in sustainable software, stability, and long-term maintainability
- Openness to modern development practices and agile ways of working
- Independent, self-driven working style and enthusiasm for technical depth
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken.
