About the role
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on Cisco systems and architecture
- Manage routing, switching, VPNs, and network segmentation across global offices and cloud environments
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of network operations
- Collaborate with global IT and Security teams to maintain compliance and best practices
- Support integration and interconnectivity between on-premises and cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS)
- Manage and maintain firewalls , primarily Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint systems
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, latency, and connectivity issues
- Document network architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and automation efforts in networking and infrastructure
- Ensure network design and operations align with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5+ years in enterprise networking, with a focus on architecture and operations
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco technologies (routing, switching, VPN, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, etc.)
- Strong understanding of network design principles and enterprise-level architectures
- Experience with Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and firewall management
- Familiarity with Azure Networking , AWS VPCs , site-to-site VPNs , and hybrid cloud connectivity
- Understanding of virtualization , VMs , and Infrastructure as Code concepts
- Experience with network monitoring , automation , and scripting tools is a plus
- Awareness of security standards and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Strong ownership and accountability - able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Organized, analytical thinker with a proactive and innovative mindset
- Comfortable working in a remote, global team environment
