About the role
- Support day-to-day HR operations with a primary focus on employee benefits, onboarding/offboarding, and basic HR and payroll administrative tasks.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions, working closely with benefits brokers and vendors.
- Assist with maintaining accurate HR and payroll records.
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS/benefit platforms.
- Support employee onboarding including setting up new hires in HRIS and coordinating offboarding tasks.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in HR, benefits administration, or payroll support (preferred).
- Familiarity with HRIS and benefits platforms; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Experience with multi-state payroll tax or unemployment portals is a plus.
