About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- To ensure the quality and functionality of software applications or systems before they are released to users.
- The QA Analyst job involves thoroughly testing software products to identify and report any defects or issues that could affect user experience or functionality.
- Your missions: Testing & Analyzing: Create & maintain comprehensive manual test plans, test reports and test cases based on software requirements and specifications.
- Execute those test plans & test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to verify software functionality and validate business processes.
- Identify, analyze, and document software defects and issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and scheduling activities.
- Use various testing techniques and tools to ensure maximum test coverage and efficiency.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaboration and Mentoring: Collaborate with software developers and project managers to understand project requirements and ensure proper test coverage.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA testers, reviewing their work and providing feedback.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to software testing.
- Customer Care Support: Working with the customer care team to respond to customers issues and improve the product. Review, track, and analyze issues.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Experience with: Web testing.
- Mobile testing (iOS, Android).
- API testing.
- Testing real mobile devices and emulators (iOS, Android).
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working as a manual QA tester, preferably more than 2 years.
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and test plans.
- Experience in project methodology (like agile, scrum, etc..)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A good level of written and spoken English.
