About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships within the A&D community within the assigned geography.
  • Develop and implement targeted sales strategies and programs to grow market share, increase product penetration, and achieve revenue goals.
  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of builder accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential builder partners, developers, and general contractors.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure that customer needs are met and that programs are executed effectively.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts, set performance goals, and track progress against targets.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience within the building industry, with a focus on working with regional custom home builders, multifamily, and commercial projects.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and the specific needs of the builder segment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with builder partners, with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth and align with broader business objectives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess market conditions, customer needs, and sales performance, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to address and resolve customer issues and challenges promptly and effectively.
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 50% of the time to engage with builder partners and support sales initiatives.
