About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

design, build, and maintain backend services that power Caesars Digital real-money proprietary casino game clients
developing secure, scalable server-side systems that integrate with the Caesars in house RGS and Caesars platform services to support game functionality
partner closely with client engineers, math/design, platform providers, and compliance teams to ensure all games operate reliably and meet regulatory requirements
sit within the internal Caesars game studio and play a critical role in enabling proprietary game development, launch readiness, and long-term live operations support

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong proficiency in Java backend development (Spring Boot or similar frameworks preferred)
Experience building RESTful APIs and real-time service integrations
Experience integrating with external platforms and transactional systems
Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS preferred)
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and caching solutions
Understanding of secure transactional systems and authentication protocols
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern development workflows
Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years backend/server engineering experience
Experience supporting real-time transactional or gaming systems strongly preferred
iGaming or RGS experience highly preferred
