About the role

  • Analyze credit card application proposals for the Caedu card flagged by the credit decision engine for manual review due to suspected fraud, aiming to prevent internal and external fraud.
  • Perform checks with credit bureaus, company systems, social media and websites to identify information that can clarify suspicious data flagged by the credit engine.
  • Review personal documents, income statements and proof of address submitted by customers during credit approval and limit maintenance processes, verifying the authenticity of signatures and documents before approving, increasing or decreasing card limits.
  • Complete a "Brief Report" in cases identified as fraud to document a summary of the analysis, including: data recorded in the application, the operation performed, documents presented, results of checks, cross-referencing of information and the conclusion of the process.
  • Analyze disputes of transactions suspected of fraud to respond to customer reports regarding unauthorized use of the card.
  • Prepare all documentation and forward it to the Legal department to provide supporting information for defenses in cases originating from consumer protection agencies (Procon) or customer legal actions.
  • Collaborate with the Verification Desk and Operations teams to exchange information and experience, aiming to improve interaction, speed up responses, anticipate events or issues, and facilitate finding solutions.
  • Keep the area’s internal controls up to date to build a database that will support the preparation of reports and loss-prevention indicators, profiles of fraudsters, regions and fraud types, contributing relevant data for the creation of rules that can be applied to the fraud prevention engine in the credit workflow.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience: Experience in fraud analysis and prevention.
  • Tools: Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, basic SQL.
