About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Signal Monitoring: Supervise the reception and transmission of signals (via IP, satellite, etc.), ensuring audio and video stability and quality.
EPG Management: Ensure the accuracy of information in the Electronic Program Guide (EPG).
Streaming Operation: Operate and monitor streaming tools to ensure online broadcasts run without interruptions.
Quality Control (QC): Perform technical checks of recorded materials before they go on air.
Troubleshooting: Identify technical issues during transmission and communicate them to the responsible teams to minimize impact on programming.
Communication: Serve as the technical point of contact with production, news, NOC/Operations, and engineering teams during broadcasts.
Checklists and Documentation: Execute transmission flow checklists and keep operational procedure documentation up to date.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience: Previous experience in playout control or a similar role at a TV broadcaster or content production center.
Technical Knowledge:
- Audio and video signal workflows (SDI, NDI, IP).
- Experience with playout automation systems.
- Familiarity with streaming platforms and broadcast protocols (RTMP, SRT, HLS).
- Signal monitoring and use of audio/video analyzers.
Education: Currently pursuing a technical or higher education degree in Audiovisual Production, Radio & TV, Telecommunications Engineering, Multimedia, or related fields.
