Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain systems in C# and VB.NET, ensuring quality and performance.
Analyze legacy code and propose refactorings.
Create and maintain RESTful APIs and integrations between internal and external systems.
Work closely with functional analysts, QA engineers and DevOps.
Participate in code reviews and define the team's technical standards.
Support software architecture decisions and contribute to the technical roadmap.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience (minimum 5 years) with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
Proficiency in C# and VB.NET (both legacy and new applications).
Advanced knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, Web API and Windows Services.
Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle), including stored procedures, triggers and views.
Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ and ADO.NET.
Knowledge of version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps or GitLab).
Experience with layered architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Code best practices.
Ability to analyze and maintain legacy VB.NET systems and propose technical improvements.
Familiarity with integrations via REST and SOAP APIs.
Knowledge of messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka or Service Bus).
