About the role

  • Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance tuning of database systems to ensure high availability and security.
  • Manage data integrity, optimize queries, and support development teams with database-related tasks.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade database servers (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
  • Create and manage database objects (tables, indexes, views, stored procedures).
  • Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
  • Develop and maintain backup strategies.
  • Perform disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Implement database security policies (roles, permissions, encryption).
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Analyze query performance and optimize SQL statements.
  • Manage indexing strategies and partitioning.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience.
  • Professional working proficiency in English is required, including the ability to read, write, and speak English.
