About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage multiple cost segregation projects simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy
- Conduct site visits and inspections of subject properties
- Review and analyze architectural and construction documents
- Develop asset schedules and determine appropriate tax treatment in accordance with IRS guidelines
- Communicate project status and findings with both internal team members and external stakeholders
- Prepare and present detailed cost segregation reports to clients
- Ensure all work adheres to the highest professional standards and client confidentiality
- Deliver high-quality client service that meets or exceeds expectations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2-4 years of experience performing cost segregation studies.
- Strong understanding of federal tax depreciation rules and IRS cost recovery regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25-30% for client site visits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field
