Key responsibilities & impact

Manage multiple cost segregation projects simultaneously with efficiency and accuracy
Conduct site visits and inspections of subject properties
Review and analyze architectural and construction documents
Develop asset schedules and determine appropriate tax treatment in accordance with IRS guidelines
Communicate project status and findings with both internal team members and external stakeholders
Prepare and present detailed cost segregation reports to clients
Ensure all work adheres to the highest professional standards and client confidentiality
Deliver high-quality client service that meets or exceeds expectations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 2-4 years of experience performing cost segregation studies.
Strong understanding of federal tax depreciation rules and IRS cost recovery regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25-30% for client site visits
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field
