About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify friction in our day-to-day operations and implement sustainable process improvements.
- Build workflows that improve task routing, team accountability, and data hygiene.
- Document and maintain internal processes using Notion.
- Maintain internal trackers and dashboards using Google Sheets and lightweight scripting tools.
- Help build and troubleshoot automations in Salesforce (e.g., Flows, validation rules) and Slack.
- Use AI tools and no-code platforms to simplify manual tasks and reduce turnaround time.
- Monitor project and task statuses across tools, and flag blockers or delays.
- Organize updates for the BizOps team and ensure documentation stays current.
- Assist with onboarding workflows, operational checklists, and quarterly planning prep.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in operations, business support, or internal systems roles, ideally in the primary research or language services industry.
- A bias toward structure, clarity, and “getting things out of people’s heads and into systems.”
- Proficiency in Google Sheets (formulas, filters, and conditional logic a must).
- Working knowledge of Salesforce is preferred, especially for maintaining fields, records, or automations.
- Familiarity with Slack, Notion, and AI tools like ChatGPT or Zapier.
- High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple workflows with minimal oversight.
- Strong written communication skills.
