About the role
- Provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and technical direction for the organization’s technology infrastructure, systems, and security.
- Ensure that all IT services are secure, reliable, and aligned with the organization’s mission and goals.
- Manage the IT department, including budget, and vendor-related contracts.
- Develop and implement IT strategy, roadmap, and policies.
- Oversee daily IT operations and technology platforms.
- Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities to protect organizational data.
- Manage relationships with external IT vendors and collaborate with department leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years in a management or leadership role, preferably in the non-profit sector.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, cloud computing (AWS/Azure), system administration, and security protocols.
- Experience with donor management systems, membership management systems, meeting registration systems, training management systems
