About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and drive the SEO strategy for projects, focusing on organic search performance growth and the client’s business objectives;
- Operate in a 360° capacity, with mastery of the SEO disciplines — Technical SEO, Content, Reputation and Experience — orchestrating specialized teams to develop tactical deliverables for each area;
- Serve as the technical and strategic point of reference for projects for clients and internal teams;
- Act as the primary client contact — setting goals and deadlines, managing requests with a strong results focus and promoting an SEO culture;
- Develop executive-level reporting, translating technical findings into a clear business-impact narrative for leaders and decision-makers (C-level);
- Lead GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategies and adapt projects to search behavior in generative engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews, etc.);
- Apply generative AI judiciously in analytical and production workflows, evaluating efficiency and quality gains;
- Structure ASO (App Store Optimization) strategies when applicable to the client scope;
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of metrics and results using analytics tools (GA4, Adobe Analytics) and SEO-specific tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush);
- Build and present reports, analyses and strategic materials to clients;
- Identify opportunities for growth and scope expansion within accounts;
- Support the technical development and mentorship of mid-level and junior analysts;
- Share knowledge and expand the team’s library of references.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Public Relations, Business Administration or related fields;
- Solid, proven experience in SEO, with strategic responsibilities and project management experience;
- 360° approach with mastery of the SEO disciplines — Technical, Content, Reputation and Experience — and the ability to orchestrate them;
- Strong command of On-page and Off-page factors;
- Experience with executive-level reporting and communicating results to decision-makers;
- Applied understanding of GEO and the impact of generative engines on search behavior (Gemini, ChatGPT, AI Overviews, etc.);
- Knowledge of best practices for using AI in SEO;
- Knowledge of ASO (App Store Optimization) strategies;
- Tools: GA4, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Trends;
- Strong experience creating presentations and spreadsheets (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace);
- English and Portuguese required; Spanish is a plus;
- Knowledge of agile methodologies is a plus;
- Availability for in-person travel to Rio de Janeiro, which may be requested with up to 10 days' notice.
