About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Be the point of reference for the management of the team you lead.
  • Align with Cadastra’s and clients’ strategy, guiding and developing people to achieve results.
  • Lead the team by conducting management routines and coaching team members on behavioral and technical aspects.
  • Oversee strategic Media deliverables, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
  • Lead media campaign strategies from planning through execution, evaluation and optimization with the operations team, ensuring delivery quality.
  • Lead and develop Coordinators and Specialists on both behavioral and technical fronts, and support their leadership roles so they can develop their teams and run operations.
  • Create and review strategic materials for clients to refine deliverables.
  • Participate in results presentations, briefings and de-briefings, war rooms, on-call shifts and performance rooms to monitor campaign performance.
  • Act as the guardian of campaign results by supervising the operations team and recommending improvements and course corrections.
  • Represent Cadastra with clients and vendors, fostering high-quality relationships and prioritizing the company’s image.
  • Maintain organization and standardization of Media processes.
  • Promote best practices, recommended behaviors and appropriate language, ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive information and protecting the company and people involved.
  • Manage the team’s vacations, time off, leaves and hours bank in coordination with Coordinators.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Make decisions quickly, decisively and confidently.
  • Enjoy and have experience working with Retail Media and Performance campaigns.
  • Be comfortable mediating between people, departments, clients and partners to ensure process and relationship fluidity.
  • Enjoy problem-solving and be able to handle unexpected situations.
  • Manage challenging situations with a focus on problem resolution, extracting learnings and maintaining an optimistic view of next steps to guide the team toward the best outcome. Demonstrate resilience, empathy and emotional self-control when working in a team and dealing with internal and external clients.
  • Conduct feedback sessions, performance evaluations, IDPs and other activities related to your team’s development.
  • Communicate clearly and directly to ensure everyone understands instructions and expectations, and practice active listening with colleagues and clients.
  • Plan, execute and monitor paid media campaigns, ensuring they are completed on time and within the available budget.
  • Identify the most important and urgent tasks and prioritize them to use time efficiently for yourself and the team.
  • Adapt to the company’s constant changes, acting with flexibility and resourcefulness in adverse situations with clients and the team. Adjust to new situations and challenges while maintaining emotional stability and inspiring teams to adopt an adaptable mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate degree desirable in Marketing, Advertising or related fields.
  • Generalist knowledge of media buying platforms.
  • Experience in digital marketing, performance or advertising agencies.
  • Have at least once taken the certification exams for Google Ads, Meta Ads, Mercado Ads, Amazon Ads and Microsoft Ads.
  • Fluent English preferred.
  • Knowledge of negotiation techniques and offline media campaign management is a plus.
