About the role
- Refine and document prioritized initiatives with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, needs and dependencies;
- Develop data processes and pipelines using industry best practices;
- Create automations for the data platform on Google Cloud, focusing on performance, security and data governance;
- Ensure the data platform is scalable and flexible;
- Assist colleagues in adopting market best practices;
- Act as a facilitator with the client team for adopting industry best practices;
- Understand the business together with the relevant area and implement solutions on GCP;
- Support decision-making using data, advising teams on the most appropriate consumption patterns and which data is best suited for each business scenario;
- Integrate Marketing Cloud data for the CRM team.
Requirements
- Experience in requirements gathering and business understanding, with a strong capacity for self-management (ownership of schedule, flagging issues and prioritizing requests in a dynamic environment);
- Analytical curiosity and an interest in learning about the client’s business where you will be embedded; willingness to contribute to outcomes by aligning technical knowledge with business results;
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for developing Data Engineering solutions;
- ETL/ELT: knowledge of data extraction, cleansing, deduplication, unification, aggregation and anonymization;
- Experience with data flow orchestration tools;
- Experience extracting data via APIs;
- Experience with Data Lake projects on Google Cloud (GCP);
- GCP certification (Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Data Engineer);
- Experience with Agile methodologies and task management tools, preferably Jira;
- Experience with Salesforce or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus;
- Experience building reports/dashboards using Data Visualization tools, preferably Looker;
