About the role
- Lead the creation of digital interfaces and experiences for large-scale e-commerce projects, from concept through final prototyping.
- Turn data (analytics, heatmaps, browsing behavior) into actionable insights, hypotheses and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Co-create customer journeys, flows and high-quality wireframes, ensuring clarity, consistency and a conversion-focused approach.
- Develop interactive prototypes to validate solutions with internal stakeholders, clients and users.
- Work closely with technology, CRO, business and product teams to ensure solutions are feasible, efficient and aligned with project goals.
- Champion the user perspective in all discussions, influencing strategic decisions and raising delivery standards.
- Actively participate in discovery and delivery rituals, contributing critical thinking, autonomy and technical depth.
- Create and maintain design documentation, interface guidelines, functional specs and structured references to facilitate implementation.
- Oversee the implementation of interfaces with the development team, ensuring visual and technical quality and consistency with the approved design.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal UX processes, promoting best practices and mentoring more junior designers.
- Explore trends, new tools, benchmarks and innovations — including the application of AI to design and experience optimization — bringing fresh knowledge to projects and the team.
Requirements
- Strong experience in UX/UI Design, with relevant cases in e-commerce, digital products or large-scale, complex projects.
- Proficiency in key design and prototyping tools: Figma (advanced), Miro, FigJam and similar tools.
- Ability to conduct user research, interviews, heuristic analyses, benchmarking, usability testing and insight synthesis.
- Skill in translating data (Google Analytics, heatmaps, navigation behavior, conversion metrics, funnels) into design decisions and hypotheses.
- Deep knowledge of usability, information architecture, accessibility and UX best practices for shopping interfaces, navigation, PDP, PLP, cart and checkout.
- Experience creating wireframes, flows, journeys, interactive prototypes and clear functional specifications for development.
- Familiarity with discovery methodologies and frameworks such as Design Thinking, Service Design, Lean UX and A/B testing.
- Ability to act strategically, understanding business impacts, technical dependencies and solution feasibility with the technology team.
- Clear, concise and collaborative communication — essential for interacting with stakeholders, clients, squads and leadership.
- Emotional intelligence, autonomy and strong self-management to handle multiple projects, deadlines and diverse contexts.
- Proactivity to identify problems, propose solutions, bring new references and continuously raise the design standard within the team.
