About the role
- Support Active Network Defense (AND), Computer Network Defense (CND), and Information Security Continuous Monitoring (ISCM)
- Stand up, configure, and maintain Linux servers
- Apply fixes, patches and upgrades in a timely fashion
- Troubleshoot server issues
- Administer customer accounts
- Deploy monitoring tools
- Deploy applications and tools
- Assist with escalated customer tickets
- Ensure information security readiness and maintain enterprise security tools
- Work to counter threats to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of customer systems
Requirements
- Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- 3 years Linux system administration experience
- Knowledge of physical and virtual servers
- Experience researching and creating solutions to close IAVA’s
- Ansible experience
- Experience in building and maintaining VMware environments
- Security+ cert
- Desired: AWS experience
- Desired: Scripting experience (Python/Perl)
- Desired: Docker experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or substitution: 3 years additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree)
- 7 years’ experience as a SA in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity (as stated under Education)
