About the role
- Support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) contract to empower the Department of Defense’s NAVWAR mission ensuring PNT superiority
- Provide subject matter expertise on planning and conducting NAVWAR and knowledge of friendly and enemy NAVWAR Order of Battle and PNT-related successes and threats
- Serve as baseline modeling and simulation analyst and access data, conduct all M&S functions and provide deliverables up to the SECRET classification level
- Conduct modeling and simulation functions such as exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations, and instruction across health, environmental, transportation, law enforcement, military, and civil domains
- Perform technical analyses and assessments, develop recommendations, and maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools
- Conduct M&S activities supporting Government analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments including model capability coordination, technical standards, interoperability and reuse
- Perform model and simulation support planning, data and architecture management, configuration management, development, verification, validation, and accreditation
- Provide instruction on operation and use of simulation models and support live, constructive, or virtual training as needed
- Utilize RF modeling and simulation software to manipulate antenna and power models that visualize GPS denial in potentially affected areas
Requirements
- Interim Secret Clearance to Start
- Pathway to TS/SCI (Interim Secret required with pathway to TS/SCI)
- BA/BS in modeling and simulation, computer science, math or other related field
- 5 Yrs Relevant Experience
- Apprentice Certified Modeling & Simulation Professional (CMSP) or equivalent (Desired)
- Prior military simulation or wargame experience (Desired)
- Proficiency with RF modeling and simulation software (GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, Systems Toolkit (STK), and other M&S programs)
- Ability to access data and provide deliverables up to the SECRET classification level
- Willingness/ability to travel up to 25% (outside continental US)
