About the role
- oversee the current unclassified and classified base area networks
- support infrastructure modernization to include site survey, design and installation activities
- support the creation of network architectures, topology diagrams, and data flow artifacts
- support site surveys and Engineering team in the design of modernized network architecture
- Design, implement, and document secure network architectures
- support the deployment of network management tools
- Ensure all installations meet industry safety standards
Requirements
- Must hold active Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree plus 7+ years of related work experience
- Direct experience managing Air Force Base Area Networks
- DoD 8570 IAT II Baseline Certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or CCNA-SEC); CCNP or CCDP or equivalent
- MS Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
