About the role
- Lead and conduct comprehensive reviews, analyses, and reengineering of business processes and provide DoW subject matter expertise
- Ingest and validate process artifacts and models.
- Perform analysis on business or systems processes to identify opportunities for process automation, improvement, and increased efficiency and auditability and provide advice and recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including USTRANSCOM, JDDE, and other JTMS contractors, to ensure accurate process capture, validate requirements and gain stakeholder buy-in.
- Identify and address gaps between current processes and solution capabilities, recommending alternatives to fill these gaps.
- Leverage Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to develop process models, capture business rules, decision logic, exception handling, and end-to-end process flows.
- Support the implementation of reengineered processes and participate in user experience reviews, testing, training, and change management efforts to promote adoption of standardized processes and tools.
- Monitor and measure the performance and effectiveness of reengineered processes using established KPIs and other metrics.
Requirements
- Secret security clearance or US Citizen with ability to successfully pass Tier 1 investigation to obtain Secret clearance upon hire
- Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation & Logistics, mathematics, statistics, business, law, computer science, engineering, physical/applied sciences or management discipline such as business administration, accounting, finance, economics or management information technology
- 7+ years of general experience in Business Process Reengineering, Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Statistical Analysis, Problem Solving or in a related area
- 4+ years of in-depth functional experience within USTRANSCOM Operations and DoD Transportation Systems
- 2+ years of general knowledge of Defense Transportation System regulations and the DOTMLPF-P framework
- Experience with process mapping and analysis tools
