About the role

  • Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives that support organizational growth and innovation.
  • Translate executive-level goals into actionable development plans, roadmaps, and measurable outcomes.
  • Identify new opportunities for expansion, optimization, or improvement across development functions.
  • Provide thought leadership and subject-matter expertise to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and individual contributors.
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and support professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance, and accountability-driven team culture.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders related to development initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership, operations, and technical teams.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes clearly to senior leadership.
  • Align development efforts with organizational priorities and resource availability.
  • Develop and manage budgets for development initiatives and teams.
  • Monitor financial performance, forecasts, and return on investment.
  • Support contract negotiations and vendor management as needed.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources, tools, and vendor partnerships.
  • Establish and refine development processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance frameworks.
  • Leverage data, metrics, and reporting to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably in the computer science or information management/technology disciplines.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science preferred.
  • 10-12 years of related progressively responsible Information Technology experience, including 1 to 2 years of supervisory and/or management experience.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale initiatives and managing high-performing teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets and complex timelines.
  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • ITIL Certification.
  • Multiple ServiceNow Certifications including ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • Experience working in fast-paced or high-growth environments.
  • Familiarity with agile, waterfall, or hybrid development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into action.
  • Ability to influence without authority and navigate organizational complexity.
