Join alongside an Information Technology (IT) Systems Engineering team supporting the Department of the Air Force (DAF) Enterprise Information Technology as a Service (EITaaS).
Responsible for building, troubleshooting, improving, and maintaining the implementation of a new Tenable architecture for the DAF.
Work with the ACAS Solution Architect, Chief Architect, and Chief Engineer to develop and troubleshoot the ACAS Solution, reporting to the ACAS Project Manager.
Develop, improve, and maintain the Tenable Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS).
Troubleshoot and conduct investigations to understand root cause of issues and problems.
Experience with DevOp tools and processes and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
Implement automation using change manager tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
Scripting experience using Bash, Python, and Ruby.
Aid in the development of the Project Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in conjunction with the ACAS Engineering Lead.
Identify technical continuous improvement and project execution efficiencies.
Develop and implement improvements to existing processes and practices.
Develop topology and flow diagrams with team technical staff.
Develop and brief solution presentation material to internal, program, and/or Engineering teams.
Develop automation scripts and code efficiencies.
Perform and maintain an Enterprise Red Hat Linux Operating Infrastructure with integrations into RHEL Satellite and RHEL Ansible.
Deploy and maintain Kubernetes containers within Azure and VMWare Hypervisors.
Passed all Department of the Air Force internal Gate Reviews without rejection.
Ability to white-board the solution ad-hoc with the project team without the need to reference existing solution materials.
Implement identified process improvement per quarter.
Requirements
Must have an active Secret security clearance
8+ Years of relevant experience (Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field may be substituted for 5 years of experience).
Experience with ACAS Solutions; Tenable preferred
Experience deploying, automating, and hardening Red Hat Linux Operating Systems
Experience with Ansible DevOps processes and tools
Experience supporting the Department of Defense
Excellent communication skills with experience briefing internal project team members and DAF stakeholders
One of the following Certifications: CISSP or equivalent DoD 8140 Certification Compliance as a Tenable Solution Architect.
