About the role
- Contribute to evolving and maintaining Cabify's in-house ETL platform ensuring accessible, reliable, accurate data
- Assist in evolving and maintaining the Tableau platform, maximizing server and data source performance
- Support maintenance of monitoring and alert systems to react quickly to errors
- Collaborate with data analysts to maximize the value of data through engineering solutions
- Help manage and evolve AWS/cloud infrastructure and platform tooling
- Work primarily with Python, Kubernetes, Airflow and Gitlab on ETL platforms feeding Redshift, BigQuery and Tableau
Requirements
- Great alignment with our principles
- A degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Know and use software engineering patterns/good practices
- 1+ years of tenure in coding and delivering engineering/data engineering projects
- 1+ years of work experience in python
- Basic knowledge in Cloud infrastructures (GCP, AWS, Azure)
- Basic knowledge in Container Platforms like Docker or Kubernetes
- Interest in learning orchestration tools such as Airflow, Luigi, or Dagster
- Curiosity about visual analytics platforms (Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight…)
- Willingness to learn about automation/IaC tools (Terraform, Puppet, Ansible…)
- Basic understanding of storage technologies (file-based, relational, columnar, document-based, key-value...)
- Some experience or coursework in SQL and data modeling
