About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborates closely with business lines, analysts and stakeholders to clarify, structure and validate business needs and requirements.
  • Designs efficient, scalable solutions in Salesforce by leveraging the platform's native capabilities and best practices.
  • Configures Salesforce features and components, prioritizing a "configure before customize" approach.
  • Works with the external integrator to implement solutions, including clarifying requirements, tracking work and ensuring deliverable quality.
  • Coordinates Salesforce integrations with third-party systems in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ensures execution of tests (unit, integration, system) and actively supports user acceptance testing.
  • Collaborates with specialized teams (business intelligence, security, compliance, continuity) to guarantee system availability, integrity, security and reliability.
  • Diagnoses and resolves complex issues related to system functionality and data quality, engaging the integrator as needed.
  • Plans and coordinates Salesforce updates across the enterprise.
  • Contributes to optimal management of Salesforce licenses and ongoing cost optimization.
  • Manages and structures environments and deployment tiers (dev, QA, prod) while ensuring rigorous deployment practices.
  • Maintains proactive technology monitoring of Salesforce releases and recommends value-added improvements.
  • Works closely with the architecture team to ensure solutions align with the company's technology direction.
  • Actively contributes to developing internal Salesforce skills by sharing best practices, mentoring colleagues and promoting team autonomy.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or another relevant discipline.
  • 8 years of experience in information technology, including a minimum of 3 years implementing and administering the Salesforce platform.
  • Experience delivering projects in modernization and digital transformation contexts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Deep knowledge of the Salesforce platform, notably the Sales and Service modules (Field and Data Cloud modules are an asset).
  • Familiarity with standard Salesforce features and the ability to identify needs for custom development (code) when necessary.
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on the Salesforce platform and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Excellent ability to translate business needs into concrete, effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Salesforce certifications and experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) are assets.
  • Able to manage projects and multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Leadership, teamwork and the ability to facilitate change while coaching colleagues.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Solution- and results-oriented with a structured approach and strong client focus.
  • Analytical, synthesis and prioritization skills for effective case management.
  • Advanced proficiency in French and working proficiency in English.
