About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage daily trust accounting activities in compliance with state-based trust accounting regulations.
- Process receipts, payments, reconciliations, and adjustments accurately and on time.
- Prepare monthly trust account reconciliations and statutory reports.
- Monitor trust transactions and ensure all entries are compliant and properly documented.
- Resolve discrepancies and liaise with property managers and stakeholders where needed.
- Support audits and provide required documentation promptly.
- Maintain accurate financial records within PropertyMe and VaultRE.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as a Trust Accountant in the real estate industry.
- Strong knowledge of Australian real estate trust accounting legislation and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in PropertyMe and VaultRE is essential.
- High level of accuracy, time management, and financial discipline.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related discipline.
