About the role

  • Develops and maintains visibility to known project work leveraging documented tools, processes and procedures in appropriate Standard Operating Procedures, Playbooks, and Runbooks.
  • Develops and maintains productive working relationships with business leaders, project sponsors, business analysts, solution architects, vendors, and key clients.
  • Develops project plans, timelines, and resource assignments, and manages project budgets.
  • Coordinates project activities, meetings, and resources to ensure smooth execution.
  • Manages the relationship with the customer, acting as the primary face of the project throughout the lifecycle.
  • Provides work direction and leadership to assigned projects, including scheduling, assignment of work, and review of project efforts.
  • Ensures successful go-live on time, within budget, and with high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains consistent communication with the project team to ensure the scope of work is clear and that standard operating procedures are adhered to and auditable.
  • Ensures compliance with all accounting, human resources, training, and safety goals, as outlined by the Statement of Work and other C5MI policies.
  • Prepares and maintains project documentation, including reports, schedules, and presentations.
  • Provides customer guidance and support on Communications, Change Management, Training Strategy, and Testing Strategy.
  • Facilitates the gathering of information required to estimate project cost, resources, time, and deliverables.
  • Sets and maintains quality standards for project deliverables, ensuring compliance with best practices and industry standards.
  • Leverages financial acumen to estimate costs associated with the project, including physical, financial, and human capital costs.
  • Negotiates conflicts and resolves issues that arise on the project, acting as a mediator between stakeholders and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor for the client.
  • Tracks and monitors progress, identifying potential issues or delays and proactively finding solutions.
  • Keeps senior leaders and stakeholders informed on the progress of the project, as well as any risks or deviations from the plan.
  • Ensure a smooth project closure process, including client acceptance, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
  • Adheres to all certified processes as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and information security, which includes actively participating in quality assurance activities and ensuring the protection of sensitive information in accordance with our security policies.
  • Travels to client sites as needed to assist with implementation and go-live activities. Must be willing to travel up to 25% throughout the year, varying based on client needs.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or high school diploma and equivalent years of experience.
  • Exposure to SAP Technology implementation and/or operation experience.
  • Experience with at least one full cycle implementation is a plus.
  • Understanding of SAP Activate methodology is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana).
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or other frameworks.
  • Government contracting experience is a plus.
  • Must have an active government clearance or be able to obtain one prior to starting (which requires U.S. Citizenship).
  • Must be a self-starter and problem solver, capable of functioning in a dynamic, fast-paced, change-oriented environment.
  • Adaptability and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
