About the role

  • Design and concretize the Data Governance role model (Data Owner, Data Steward, Data Governance Office)
  • Define and structure data domains and associated data objects
  • Derive clear responsibilities, decision-making authorities and escalation procedures
  • Develop lean governance processes (e.g., onboarding new data objects, ownership changes, quality escalations)
  • Conceptually map the governance model into the Collibra data catalog
  • Define role, ownership and workflow logic within the tool
  • Coordinate results with business units, IT and the Data Governance Office
  • Document and hand over results to line operations

Requirements

  • Several years of experience implementing Data Governance (beyond pure conceptual work)
  • Solid knowledge of Data Governance role models (Owner / Steward / Governance Office)
  • Experience modeling governance in data catalogs, ideally Collibra
  • Ability to consider governance holistically across business, organizational and technical aspects
