About the role
- Act as the main, day-to-day contact for clients in your book
- Prepare Applications and other documents required for a submission
- Perform Contract reviews for insurance requirements compliance
- Prepare Certificates of Insurance, Invoices, and Finance Agreements
- Process Endorsements, Audits
- Analyze and compare current exposures to develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing
- Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, and review quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy
- Review and summarize marketing results and prepare proposals
- Monitor and manage the renewal marketing and bind process
- Check binders, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy
- Participate in the claims process
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in account management or client services
- Active P&C license
- Expertise in coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting, and legislative changes
- Experience managing multi & complex lines of business, international exposure, and specialty lines
- Education degree preferred but not required
- Insurance designation preferred
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong math skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
