About the role
- Act as the main, day-to-day contact for clients in your book
- Prepare Applications and other documents required for a submission
- Perform Contract reviews for insurance requirements compliance
- Prepare Certificates of Insurance, Invoices, and Finance Agreements
- Process Endorsements, Audits
- Analyze and compare current exposures to develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing
- Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, and review quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy
- Review and summarize marketing results and prepare proposals
- Monitor and manage the renewal marketing and bind process, in partnership with the Producer
- Check binders, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy
- Prepare summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clients
- Participate in the claims process, including claim submission, follow-up, and overall communication
- Ensure financial aspects related to invoicing and premium financing are performed correctly and timely
- Maintain files in accordance with company policy and professional standards outlined by the Department of Insurance
- Have good verbal and written communication skills for both client and internal communication
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in insurance management
- Active P&C license
- Experience managing Construction accounts preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong math skills
- Good organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn technology quickly
