Practices network asset management, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information
Manages network security solutions

Requirements

10+ years of network administration
5+ years in a network engineer role
Cisco CCNP certification
Expert-level understanding of network protocols and services such as VoIP, BGP, OSPF, STP, VLANs, RADIUS, TACACS+, CAPWAP, 802.1x
Network security – device hardening, intrusion prevention
Cisco ASA – client, phone, site-to-site VPN
Cisco routers/switches
Cisco/Meraki wireless
Network monitoring and reporting – Cisco Prime Infrastructure, SolarWinds, etc
Ability to document, diagram, and discuss network infrastructure
Experience with multiple site MPLS connectivity
Design highly-available networks built for auto-failover
Ability to shift gears and priorities as needed
